|Description:||This is a position involving clinical responsibility for psychiatric practices at Directions. This position is responsible for developing accurate and complete psychiatric evaluations in the adult assessment center. Communicate evaluations effectively to primary clinicians.|

|Qualifications:||•Must be a Board Certified Psychiatrist. |
•Successful completion of a background investigation with the Florida Department of Professional Regulation.
•Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to all types of people.
•High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
•Requires ability to assess clinical performance of all clinical providers and must be able to encourage growth and development of the clinical staff.
•Requires ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
•Minimum of seven years progressive experience in a community mental health center, major health care system or large medical practice.
•Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, and pre-paid health plans is highly desired.
•Previous experience with the use of an electronic health record is required.
•Experience in the treatment of substance use disorders.
•Requires a flexible schedule.
•Evening work and meetings, and a work day of up to 12 hours.
